- Care Ministries

Our parish care ministries are comprised of Bereavement Ministry, C3M (Corpus Christi College Ministry), Homebound Ministry & Prayer Chain.

* Bereavement Ministry

 When life brings terrible storms our direction, we may react with anger, fear, depression, sadness, disappointment, and/or disbelief. The object of our grief may be the loss of a loved one, of a job, of a relationship or loss of security. Healthy grief comes to a solution or acceptance, unhealthy grief is unresolved and may appear either as a psychological or physical illness.

* Funeral Luncheon

The Funeral Luncheon Ministry helps make a very difficult day a little easier for family and friends following the death of a loved one.

* C3M (Corpus Christi College Ministry)

Seeks to provide programs to keep our college students and parish, informed about the students’ lives via email, mail, and the parish website. This ministry also maintains contact with the Diocese of Belleville's seminarians. The group makes homemade cards for birthdays and holidays as well as exam goodies for students & seminarians. Besides the parish's college students, the program now reaches out to students from McKendree University that participate in the Joseph House.

* Homebound Ministry

Seeks to provide programs to our homebound parishioners with mailing of bulletins, devotionals, and birthday cards.

* Prayer Chain

Corpus Christi Prayer Chain has members eager to pray for those in need. You do not need to be a parishioner to participate.
